Yesterday we looked at key wardrobe pieces for Fall and today we will look at the details we will see in Fall fashion. Lace, pearls, fur and feathers will be seen on articles of clothing, shoes, hair accessories and handbags. I love that the designers are using two of my favorite classics, lace and pearls. Here’s just a hint of some of the luxe details coming our way next season:
Fur: Fur, much like the other details you’ll see today, will be seen on dresses, coats, shoes, boots and even handbags. While fur is a controversial material, you can find a selection of faux and the real thing. Faux may be the way to go both for your conscience and your wallet. But then again, this beautiful coat from Michael Kors is neither faux nor inexpensive. I say go for it – think of it as an investment piece. {*wink*}

Lace: The European designers seem to be presenting the best takes on lace. We will see lace details on blouses, dresses, t-shirts, shoes, handbags – everywhere this Fall. Check out this lace print rubber rain boot by Valentino:

Feathers: For Fall, we’ll see delicate sandals aflutter with feathers, dresses covered in plumage and feathered hair accessories as well.

Pearls: Now, I’m not talking your average, conservative pearls. I mean chunky, layered designs mixed with edgy black chain links or any ultra interesting mixed-media pearl creations. These are not your grandmothers pearls!
