Tattoos are spring’s hottest accessory.  Yes, you read that correctly.

Paris runway shows for Spring 2010 included tattoo-inspired body art from several fashion houses.  My personal favorites, however were shown at the Chanel show.  The designs are so ethereal and feminine and the designs showcased on legs are shown in such interesting areas.  The versions showcased by the legendary clothier will now be available this Spring, marketed as Les Trompe L’Oeil de CHANEL Temporary Skin Art.  The limited edition designs are based on the temporary tattoos that global creative director Peter Philips designed for the Paris runway show.  Each pack contains five sheets (with 55 total designs included in each) and starting in mid-February they will be sold for $75.00 at Chanel.com.
