Stylish Planners, meet Grace. I’m still working on her official title. She is my… fashion assistant? Hmmm that doesn’t sound right. Style advisor? No, not right either. I’m really not sure what to call her, but I’ll keep working on it and get back to you all, ok?

Here is what I do know about Grace:
- She’s a vintage beauty – circa 1950 something, the best anyone can recall. Any manufacturing information she once held has long since worn away.
- She’s a family heirloom. Passed down to me about 12 years ago from my husband’s grandmother.
- Her last known occupation was as a dressmakers form. She assisted Granny in her “side job” as the local area seamstress.
- She’s a rescued treasure. Found in Granny’s old barn while the family was cleaning it out, my husband knew right away Grace and I would be fast friends and he brought her home to me.
- She helped me pick out my dress when we renewed our vows a few years ago. I bought a total of 5 dresses, but kept the best one thanks to her advice.
- She’s not as opinionated as most people. She’ll try anything for the sake of fashion.
- She’s worn some beautifully, handmade dresses in her time – I’d love to hear her stories.
Grace has kindly agreed to work with me here at The Stylish Planner. You’ll be seeing a lot of her, as she and I work to bring you fresh ideas for your wedding/event planning wardrobe. Grace and I can’t wait to meet each of you and we look forward to reading all about you in the Thursday feature – “Stylish Planner of the Week”!
Warmly,
Jeannine & Grace
